Working people can have the economy they want, but they have to demand it.
Working people are the largest, most powerful constituency in America. They have the power to demand an economy that meets their needs first, before another dime flows into the pocket of a billionaire. The Great Economy Project takes participants on a deep dive into exactly how politicians of both parties have rigged the economy in favor of the rich and what working people can do to fix it.
(Hint: It’s both doable and not that complicated!)

About the Great Economy Project
The goal of the Great Economy Project is to inspire working people - the most powerful constituency group in America - to demand an economy that puts more money in their pockets and gives their family a chance to thrive regardless of what political party is in charge.
Members of the Patriotic Millionaires believe the economy should be judged on whether or not the millions of people working within it can lead happy, prosperous lives, not on how rich it makes a few billionaires or how easy it is for overpaid CEOs to fleece consumers and stiff working people.
When the Patriotic Millionaires went to Whiteville…
The Patriotic Millionaires launched the Great Economy Project in Whiteville, NC in 2022 with sixty people from different backgrounds and a wide range of political beliefs (Republican, Independent, Democrat, and ‘Hate-Em-All’). They met regularly over dinner with members of the Patriotic Millionaires and top researchers to explore how the economy works and the specific ways it is ‘rigged’ in favor of the rich and against regular working people.
When we asked them what they wanted to do about what they learned, they said, “Tell everybody.” So that’s what we’re gonna do…

The Great Economy Project (GEP) is designed to be both fun and informative. Each session includes a delicious free dinner, a presentation from an economic expert and the chance to win prizes including a vacuum cleaner (for obvious reasons), a big screen TV, and much more!

Who Are The Patriotic Millionaires?
The Patriotic Millionaires is a group of business leaders and investors who are deeply concerned about historic levels of inequality and the destabilizing concentration of wealth and power in America.
